My guess is that he's been waiting to see what else surfaces. I believe his initial reaction was guilt, and he knew it. After that he moved to a "what can they prove" mode, and waited to see what else surfaced. According to other sources there have been rumors regarding his homosexual cruising both in Idaho and Washington, DC, ever since he became a public figure.

Since no other information has surfaced to the level of mass awareness I'm thinking he will try to somehow "vindicate" himself. I'm afraid Idaho is convinced of his duplicity, and that no one else will want to risk something else turning up, and he'll simply use the "fight" as an excuse to stay on the public dole as long as he can.

What a farce! I can't help but be happy he's one of "theirs", even though this isn't really political. Except that a Conservative would have a harder time being honest.
