I heard the news today, oh boy..."
On NBC Nightly News tonight: an author doing genealogical research for a book reported today that Dick Cheney and Barack Obama are 8th cousins. Somehow, I think there are more than 6 degrees of separation between those two.
I've often thought the 6 degrees idea might work for US residents, but I have trouble seeing how it could apply to the whole world. Still, I once knew a guy who introduced me to a lady whose daughter was on President Reagan's personal staff.
