America is a country of immigrants, and looking through a list of names really tells you little about the country of origin of those listed; they may be immigrants, the children of immigrants, or their grandchildren. Perhaps their families have been Americans for generations, and retain little or none of the cultural heritage of their familiy's nation of origin. But having said that, consider this list of recent graduates from my old school, as reported by the fall USF math department newsletter. My congratulations to the graduates, and forgive me for failing to list their middle initials (to ease my typing).
