None of the other Surveyors that successfully landed on the Moon sent back any other
kind of landscape than a pretty darn flat one. Their primary missions were to scout out
potential Apollo landing sites to see how dangerous they might be. They finally let the
last Surveyor go off somewhere interesting to do some science, just like with Rangers
7 through 9. That place was the crater Tycho.

And it ain't any of the Soviet lunar landers because most of their images were crappy
by comparison.

Plus you can always tell a Surveyor image by the type of image it takes.

So Raoul, where did you get this one and are there more? The Surveyors never get
the same publicity that they should have, being overshadowed by Apollo et al.
