I'm no lover of either of the Clintons. On a personal level. I do like their politics, and could vote for her against any Republican.

And this is unfair. Upon first read one does regard giving the cat away as heartless. And upon reflection, it makes sense. A cat or dog needs security, stability, and, believe it or not, the consistent presence of their owner. I can see that the Clintons may have realized they would not be home much, Hillary gone days, Bill gone nights, and wouldn't be able to provide the kind of stable existence that the secretary could.

Kind of a stretch. If this is the best they can do, the poor bastards have lost it.
