I enjoy watching baseball occasionally, and enjoyed part of the Cleveland - Boston ACLS. It was fun, could have been nicer.

My viewing pleasure was somewhat dimmed by all the drooling and spitting. I have never seen so much spitting in my entire life. All together. They at least doubled my experience of watching a man spit.

I could not help but wonder what it was like to try to walk in or around those dugouts. Shoes must have squished and I'm surprised no one slipped and fell. Imagine what it was like to have to pick up one of those thrown bats - there oughta be latex gloves for the batboys.

One of the managers had an almost continuous stream coming out of his mouth. He just stuck his head down and let it out. Now there was a prize - he needed a bucket down there if he was catching it, and that would have turned the stomach of the most jaded septic tank cleaner.

I couldn't help it. After a few innings I was mostly watching the spitting.
