"Showdown With Iran" was discussed earlier. There are numerous other FrontLine stories available "in toto" on the PBS FrontLine website. Two of them I watched tonight were "Cheney's Law" and "Endgame".
They both seemed balanced, and had interviews with both folks on the inside and outside observers. There was remarkable agreement among them, and both were fascinating to watch. If some of the conclusions seemed grim both the staunch conservatives and others on the programs agreed with them.
I'd suggest them for anyone interested in the current administration and the war in Iraq. There was a lot I hadn't read, and it was a delight to see some of the top advisors to Cheney, Bush and Rumsfeld discussing events. One Rumsfeld's generals and favorite advisors even suggested that Rumsfeld had come around to seeing that Iraq was a failure, a no-win situation.
The reason this is on Flame is that I'm aware that no Conservative would be interested in watching these programs, or reading history. Nor to they have suggestions as to any other "hard fact" histories in which the participants are discussing matters which could be read. Limbaugh and Coulter supply them with all they need to know, and all they can know. Being that averse to learning is what allows them to keep the opinions they hold.
