***************************************

Now, you tell me, Ladies and Gentlemen, how many of the above bills are really important to US? (Us as in you and me.) Personally, I think we ought to keep our nose out of International shit, like condemning this and that or approving of this and that UNTIL we get our own House in order! And we really have to waste time designating names for things, don't we? There are too damn many things hanging fire while they put chickenshit bills through. Let's protect our borders from terrorists; let's protect our shipyards and other entry ports from the possibility of terrorists sneaking in and bringing bombs with them, or chemicals, or biologicals. They're out there plotting and we're sitting here on our asses while our Senate and Congress do damn little IMO. Several Senators are so busy running for President, they don't have time to pay appropriate attention to the jobs to which they were elected.

Needed: Election Reform! NO $$$$ from any outside people or agencies. Paid for by our government (hell, take it out of the war chest.) Politicking time allotted for the primaries: Sept & Oct (intense coverage of what each stands for.) After we have our candidates, quiet politicking with one debate per month (mandatory) in various venues and then intense politicking allowed in the two months before the election.

I wanna be dictator so I can friggin' change some of this stuff by mandate. And then I'd turn the government back over to our elected officials. Really I would. :-)
