I started it, saved it to my desktop and will read the book. I loved that damned Tribbles episode. I practically had the dialogue of every episode memorized after watching it day after day in reruns after I returned from England Christmas 1970. The series run was over and I had never seen it. But from the first episode I saw, I was a goner.

The only sad thing for me was to see William Shatner getting lost in his own press and overplaying the character (IMO). The first time I had seen him was in his role as aide to Spencer Tracy in Judgment at Nuremburg. I thought he was a talented actor with a great future ahead of him. He was talented, is talented but his future was not what I envisioned. His ego was too large to overcome.
