And as the population increases, then shortages will be showing up for food and energy production.

I smell a recession coming, one that won't be good for the US.
Not only do we need to get our deficit under control, but we need to bring our troops home, and start with some stiff laws on outsourcing. America's problems soon will be peaking at insurmountable bordering on collapse, unless we get in gear.
