Go and read some of the many publically available summaries of cosmology and the Big Bang. You don't even need to get into relativity to understand the gist of it.
The Big Bang was a giant ball of Plasma. Plasma is Opaque to ALL EM radiation. period
The Big Bang was so hot that energy and matter were in direct and intimate balance, so you don't even get any particles that weren't altered by it. period
There isn't an "Outside" there wasn't a "Before"...
