Terrorists and the internet.

It's hard to believe that the internet is now a successful tool
of the former. But it's true.

AQ wants new recruits? They use the internet to recruit.

AQ wants to teach its new recruits how to kill, how to make IED's,
how to set up ambushes, etc., they set up sites on the internet to do
just that.

AQ wants to hack into vulnerable computer-controlled facilities
& infrastructure?...Well, their successes in this area, thankfully, are few
uptil NOW...Let's hope it stays that way.

Yea...The NSA, CIA, MI6, etc., have their own cyberspace experts and hackers,
but as far as I can see the terrorists seem to be one step ahead of them.
The free-for-all, 'wild-west' legal environment in cyberspace seems to favor
the terrorists, not the government agencies.

Which brings me to my point: Should government agencies have the right
to tighten up and legislate internet controls in their favor to fight cyberterrorist activity?
