Far too many base their interest (hobby, passion, social life) on beliefs they don't question and accept without critical thinking and these beliefs often involve our fear of death:
Religion (a personal god takes care of you after death)
ET (they certainly know how to keep you alive much longer)
Reincarnation (life never ends)
Soul separate from body (in order to be able to reincarnate).

None of those beliefs have been prooved scientifically and yet, conduct human behavior, attitude and polarize!
I'm currently reading this book. How come religions cannot be criticized like political parties or commercial products?

We live in a material world and that should just be fine.
