In Kansas City, we have the Liberty Memorial, a WWI Memorial. I've been there, although not through it. It wasn't open when I last visited the site but I parked along the drive to it and watched B2 Stealth Bombers from Whiteman AFB fly over as part of an airshow out of the Downtown Airport.
