We need to be vigilant, but don't overdo it. It's not "Mad Max," and not likely to be.
Most everything that worked ten years ago is working now. We have serious economic issues, and things will get worse before they get better, but the important thing is to do something to start bending the curves the other way.
We had a wakeup call that was reflected in the 2010 elections. I think 2012 is going to further that, since only one party seems to have woken up.
