Forget fooling Belgian roaches, bots are fooling our kids!
This study shows that bot technology is reaching the point where toddlers are accepting them as peer level playmates. Maybe this isn't much of a stretch for an age group that probably thinks their Teddy bear is real but note how the bot is more readily integrated into play, socializing and touching than the stuffed animals. Interesting.
My 4 year old grandaughter wants me to build her favorite, Robbie The Robot, for her. Where is that Krell mind boost machine? She needs to get her butt in gear, go to MIT and build it herself.
