Not a peep.
Granted, I don't follow state politics much, and this sort of thing doesn't happen much in Miami where hispanics control the local politics and have severe clout in the business community. The rest of the state has always had these problems, usually targeting blacks, ever since post-Reconstruction but I guess now they're extending it to hispanics, which in other parts of the state usually means rural farm labor populations.
I would like to think it's just stupidity and red tape, but the story will just not go away and no one sems to do anything about it.
