Of course there will always be pork...And of course there will always the some sort of an Oligarchy that attempts to control it...There is just so much $$$ there to be had that it will never be 100% a pure un-corrupt republic.

But limiting contributions to candidates and "public funding" will never change the fact that the Oligarchy is tight now as of this moment in COMPLETE CONTROL of Washington DC.

Only term limits can take some of that control away, becuase it will at least upset the power that comes with the tenured congressional positions.

There are more than enough qualified people to serve in congress...We need more ordinary people to serve...The current lawyered-up fools think that we couldn't survive with out them...

Down with the lock on power of the purse! Term limits give back the power to the People!
