You know as well as I do that you jumped at the chance to paint Pelosi's upset onto all Democrats as if everyone fell in line with the bimbo.
You say you hang out and read articles at the Daily Kos. If you did you'd see that the majority of the people there can't stand her and call for someone to replace her daily.
By the way, just for your information. I could care less what Murtha says about Iraq or any one individual for that matter. I'm reading lots of different opinions on the dynamics of the occupation and the feelings are all over the spectrum. Generally that means that the truth falls somewhere in between the extremes of thought. One also has to take into account that many of the initial targets of the insurgency are already dead, isolated in armed sectarian enclaves, or are part of the millions of refugees out of the country. If that's the reason for the lessening of violence I'm not so sure that's something to celebrate.
Petraeus is either doing a good job of moving the country forward or he's a master of PR in selling the illusion by employing tricks like isolating factions behind impenetrable walls and paying off the war lords and gang bosses. I hope it's the former because the latter is unsustainable no matter how many troops you employ. I don't know which is the truth and neither do you until you see Sunnis and Shites living on the same block without killing one another.
