Space/Science » in reply to Most Earthlike...

The most Earthlike place anywhere in the universe is the Earth.

So some chemicals got together [by chance?] and formed life?
How ridiculous. How imbicilic.
I wonder where that subatomic "life" nature/character resides in the nuclei of carbon, nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, and one or two other element, but is not present in around 80-90 other natural elements?
[This sarcastic 'question' of mine should hopefully provoke you
to see that life is a state/nature/condition/phenomena that is
greater than the sum of its parts.]

I could 'almost' imagine this personal computer I'm using came about because of a chance combination of elements like silicon, alluminum, copper, etc...
Or...dump thousand of pounds of wood cellulose,
steel nails, glass ingredients, paint ingredients, etc., in an empty suburban lot and see if a fine suburban house will emerge by
CHANCE in a few million years?

Why does the concept of I.D. bother and offend some of you?

Maybe you don't like the concept of someone looking over your
shoulder, 24/7?
