Silly ass thing. The simplistic questions warped me into a quintessential Flaming Liberal, but then I threw them a wild card when I answered yes to the Fair Tax (which I understand to mean a national sales tax, which to me is the very definition of fair), so they matched me with Mike Gravel. That must be what spared me being paired again with Dennis the Kucinich, who was my second best match.

I'm getting the itch to design one of those myself, this one with sliders to let you indicate a graduated/nuanced preference. And hey, for an algorithm, how about we all work on it together, so that in the end it produces a recommendation that actually matches what we really think?
