The terms "Defeatist" and "Stay the Course Supporter" are both used, and used in parentheses. The two generals are on different sides of the issue and have both been called those names. They're saying that the name calling in Washington should stop and the pols on both sides should get their acts together and give the troops what they need to finish this fight.
