Other things indeed. The free ride that China's getting on the issue of greenhouse gases is a black eye to the movement that's urging action on CO2 emissions. It's an admission that politics is just as important to them as science, and that ain't good. It's the wrong signal to send while they're criticizing their opponents for politicizing the debate.
