I like the idea but...
I don't think solar power will be enough.
They will need a nuclear reactor if I am to do my low-gravity die-casting experiements at the moonbase. We could use a solar furnace, but the entire reflector apparatus will need to pivot as the sun moves accross the sky if we are to have continuous production.
Also, does anybody know if there is a good supply of casting sand near the north pole of the moon?
