But then keep in mind that AK has active oil drilling going on that keep more than enough revenue flowing in without the Federal earmarks...
Other states like California have tied their own hands by severely limiting thier potential oil revenue stream...Which is fine I guess...It keeps the price of oil artificially high which benefits Alaska, the Saudi's, Halliburton, etc...
