Saudi Arabia financed and manned the attack on WTC. And Bush allowed Saudis to leave the US after 9-11, even while not allowing organs for transplants for US citizens to fly. Folks died, but Saudis fled.
So your "security" argument is nonsense, even without considering that the US has created a world which is much less safe for anyone these days.
Now, what are the priorities of a government which puts killing people who are not a threat over the health care of it's own poorer children?
