I have an older HP that's probably ancestral to that one, with nearly identical specs, and I've been happy with it. Which is to say I rarely have to think about it; it's reliable. A terabyte is a luxurious amount of space, even if you have a lot of video, and you can stretch out in the 8 gigs of RAM too. You should be happy with it if you buy one for yourself.
I've been resisting Windows 10 too. I have reservations about privacy, and I worry that I might lose access to a couple of hundred gigs of video I purchased from Amazon and that I need a Microsoft Silverlight digital certificate to play. And Win10 kills Silverlight dead. Will I lose my video library? Amazon no longer provides downloads, so they're irreplaceable.
