A typical southern California roof rat would kick the Sumatra ratâ€™s pansy ass. Ours are only the size of small puppies but they are â€˜city ratsâ€™ and have evolved to weapon use and run in gangs.

I read once that in this part of the world at any one time, within a fifty foot diameter there are at least two rats screwing. I believe it.
