He could set himself on fire in Times Square and the Democrats would avert their eyes.

What's funny as hell is that if Gore had managed to grab the presidency in 2000, it's quite likely that Lieberman the Blowhard would be the Democratic shoo-in candidate for 2008, and Hillary would be off sullenly baking cookies somewhere.
