By the way, does anyone think that if the US stuck 160,000 troops and 150,000 mercenaries, all of whom are free to kill at will with no accountability, into, say, California that the crime rate wouldn't drop?

Patrol LA, forgetting about everything south of it, use artillery and bombs on Stockton, and turn everything north of San Francisco over to pot growers so that statistics aren't kept in either the north or south.

I believe the crime rate might fall a bit, except for the state-sponsored crimes.
