Sometimes an elephant is just an elephant.

In this case, it's a stock shot of an elephant chewing on some vegetation that Drudge pulled off of Yahoo's news photo section. It's the first picture of an elephant that shows up when you drop the word "elephant" into the photo search, and no doubt that's how it was selected.

As gbaikie points out, nobody is using the picture to imply something that isn't true, like a caption declaring that the elephant is being shot at by Bush or something.

However, as we know, contrasted with the very real threat of global warming, the Republican Party, infused with richer and richer members, with it's own private army being raised, trained and funded in Iraq at public expense, with oil companies becoming wealthier and wealthier as well as all other multinational corporations upon which the Republican Party depends for funds becoming more and more powerful, the Republican Party is not in any trouble as a party.

Leftist boilerplate. "Private army?" See my post above on "derangement."
