A few years ago some low-res radar views raised the exciting prospect of a shield volcano on Mercury. Follow-up at higher-res revealed a bright rayed-crater so it wasn't quite the surprise some had hoped for, but you never, never know.
Guaranteed is idiots, like Hoaxland, claiming alien ruins and similar garbage based on overly "enhanced" images. A great irony would be if they were right this time. I'd love to see SETA turn up a positive result so soon into our exploration of the Solar System, but I'm not counting on it.
