A little History for you
Seeing as I know you love the history behind things, maybe can you can take off those rose colored glasses and look at the benefits (think $$$$) behind certain deals. Especially if you are in charge of the country, it's laws, it's military, and it's corporations. It's a great way to grab money under the blanket of national security and fool the masses.
I won't go into the Savings and Loans or the BCCI ties to the Bush family here (that was before your time), but I will give you this brief history which is self-explanatory.
It's not very long, five minutes at most.
