Doesn't matter.

In the first place, the US kills Afghans and calls them all insurgents. By definition a dead Afghan is either Taliban or al-Qaeda. Men, women and children. Old and young.

The US hasn't learned the lesson from Vietnam, and 58,000 Americans died needlessly there. Upwards of a million Vietnamese were killed, but they were fighting on their own land for their own country. They would have gone to the last person, and they wanted "it" more than did the US.

Same is true in Afghanistan. They want their own tribes, their own land and they will go forever. When was the last time anyone "conquered" Afghanistan, and what did that look like?

Hell, Karzai even has foreign guards because he can't trust Afghans. What does that tell you about "democracy" in Afghanistan, what does that say about who is "winning" and who will prevail?

You it doesn't tell anything. Most people would be able to figure it out.
