Disappointing, but it brings to mind a possibility...
Deliberately pushing this or another NMO into a collision course with Mars. The B612 foundation wants to move an asteroid to demonstrate how to save the earth. Why not kill two birds with one "stone"? A fresh crater on Mars would be an unbelievable scientific bonanza!
