Caucus summed up
A victory by two populist politicians who seem way, way too excited about what the political process can achieve. It's a deeply depressing pair of results for those who believe in a government that knows its place - and there's more to come.
Rush Limbaugh is taking more time with it, but pretty much comes down to the same opinion. Populism is not conservatism.
New Hampshire next. Me, I'm liking Thompson more as time goes on, and if he's still in the race in February, will probably vote for him.
Still, it was kind of fun to see the Clinton/DNC axis get one in the mug. People tend to forget that the Democratic Party infrastructure, including some critical chunks of the media, is pretty much Clinton All The Way.
