MESSENGER Mercury flyby less than 1 week away!
I'm VERY excited about seeing Mercury up close and personal for the first time in over 30 years. This could be a dazzling mission, browsing many aspects of Mercury with modern instruments. Still a long ways off until orbit insertion, but I expect the flyby will be eye opening. Of course it will only whet the appetite for the main course.
