Maybe he would say that modern capitalism is a sort of proof that God exists. Or that it's reflective of the kingdom of heaven.

Socialism as a model of heaven is only for people who are severely lacking in imagination.
And the extent that churches and/or priests are supporting socialism, that drives people away from the word of God.
Show me a sect that is strong supporter of socialism, and I'll show you religion that believes it's holy book is an essentially a fairy tale- not something to be taken seriously. And is probably indoctrinating such blasphemy as Mother Earth with all the global warming claptrap.
