Described in this short paper from their company. I don't even follow a lot of this, but I have my fingers crossed for this technology. Lord knows humanity could use a big energy breakthrough right about now.
In my youth, science fiction stories and films used to routinely describe the threat of nuclear war as the crisis point that some civilizations got past, and many didn't. In reality, the ability to create enough usable energy to maintain an ever-growing population's ever-growing needs may be the real bottleneck.
