Spend some time at the Louvre, the Kennedy Space Center, the Olympics, or looking at the skyline of a city at night.

Aside from Antarctica, we live on every continent on the planet, living in deserts, on ice sheets, in jungles, and islands scattered across the sea. And did so even BEFORE we developed advanced technology.

With any luck, we will go where no Earth life has gone before.

I used the example of a dancing bear once. It's not that the bear dances well, it's that it dances at all. The "bear" of humanity has been doing frigging Swan Lake, including the leaps.

For a kludge, we're doing pretty damn good.
