when a mission will be 4 years in transit, it just seems it would be better to wait to see what MESSENGER reveals before designing the mission plan for this probe. I mean it will be unlikely another probe will be sent to Mercury any time soon after this one. Meanwhile we already know many questions we want answered on Europa, and Titan.
