Fer crissake!

The US is the largest economy, so far. By some measures the various European economies added together are larger. At any rate, the US won't be the largest economy for long.

The disparity between rich and poor shows up in standard of living, doesn't it. To the US's disadvantage.

Infant mortality is higher in the US than many countries. A shame!

And, for instance, literacy. In most European countries the kids are bi- and tri-lingual. In the US ebonics is a first language, and one can't even say that those folks have English as a second language.

I know, I know. It's hard to admit the US is falling behind, that the oligarchy killing the middle class has taken a large toll on the average standard of living.

However, the wealthy in this country are living better than ever. I'll grant you that. One reason is that they had health insurance.

There is a reality out there which no longer matches your world-view. And, I'll grant, not only will neither change, the disparity will get worse and worse and worse.
