...1. there just isn't time before he exits in ignominy.
2. the Congress and Senate have too damn much to do to try and rescue the economy and an impeachment would take too much of their time.

Of course, OTOH, if Bush had to fight off impeachment, it might keep him from doing any more damage to this country.

If they were going to do it, though, they'd need to impeach Bush and Cheney both. They both deserve it.

Of course, I'm not sure I'd want Pelosi in the Presidency for whatever time would be left before the next President takes office. Pelosi is a bit too liberal in some areas for my taste. Of course, sitting in the hot seat can sometimes teach the person something. Well, except Bush. He doesn't learn shit. There was a good NPR segment on him today. Some guy wrote a book about him and man, did he have Bush's personality pegged. He has a Daddy complex and so makes decisions fast, without input, will not listen to differing opinions and will not change his mind. He also makes up his own versions of his own history but we already knew that. I'll see if I can find the NPR segment to link.
