I (Robert) am a regular and repeat offender when it comes to satiric use of celebrity names. I usually leave an unmistakable clue to my identity, usually just supplying my well-known @habitablezone.com email address, sometimes compounding the comedic offense with a note to the effect that "the part of [celebrity] was played tonight by Robert".
Given my proclivity for that kind of humor, I naturally had to lobby for tolerance toward the practice. Tom summed it up pretty well: Nobody'd believe an A-list celebrity anyway, and from B-list and lower, leave some sort of clue. The criteria I use in the gray area is intent, intent to deceive (seriously, which can have embarrassing conseuences for the deceived), intent to do harm, flaming from the cover of a psuedonym, stuff like that.
