Tunnel to Siberia
The concept has been discussed for decades. The tunnel is the most recent incarnation. It would not consist of automobile traffic but be high speed trains. It is estimated that 10% of all global trade could ultimately move through the tunnel, generating enormous economic benefits to the planet. It would also lead to economic integration between the US and Russia.
