I'd say you're close. "Take direction" might be a bit much. I'll give you "already headed in the same direction". That's why this particular older Dem supports him, and has from Day One.

And if Obama gets some of the good old heads in his cabinet, there's the solution to anyone's experience issues. Biden's perfect for SecState. SecDef? How about McCain?
