I have a small problem with their idea...
If they are first producing synthisis gas (H2 + CO). And then using a micro organism to convert that synthisis gas into ethanol...
Why don't they just produce the synthisis gas and use it to power a vehicle; thus, skipping one huge part of their process?
By the way, one big byproduct of syn-gas production is another fuel: Charcoal.
