Discussed on ATC tonight, in two parts: 1 2.
White males, of which there are none left among the candidates. Speaking as one, I think it's kind-of sad that's there a detectable part of my party who thinks "anyone other than a woman or a black man." Betcha a bunch of them who live in open primary states (California?) will cross over and vote for McCain, next Tuesday.
That detestable detectable minority in the Republican side, IMO, is the Huckabee crowd. They're gonna be nowhere after Feb. 5, having split the theocrat vote with Romney, thus giving McCain the whole field.
My prediction: McCain goes into his convention with a lock. The Democratic convention is going to be a two-ring circus. The most significant thing about that may be Edwards' 56 delegates, who he has not released (he "suspended" his campaign).
I may almost be ready to entertain the notion that the Texas primary, Mar. 4, will count for something.

And who are they?
