Thanks. That gives me some things to think about. I don't know why I hadn't even thought of the balancing aspect of it, but that should have been apparent to me. Duh. It raises their standard of living and we lower ours a bit until a level is reached...

A friend told me the other night that there's a place on the web where you can apply for some jobs that had been shipped overseas and are being brought back here because of consumer complaints and resistance (not talking about techie jobs), i.e. customer service for various companies. You work from home which saves them from having to supply a work place, etc.

What concerned me was the statement that our government is giving tax breaks to companies who ship their jobs overseas.
