Mystery bomber
I at first thought it was a "Twilight Zone" episode titled "King Nine Will Not Return," but a closer match may be the TV movie "Sole Survivor."
What's weird is that a number of people out there are looking for this movie, and no two of them seem to remember the same plot details. A lot of them have the ghost crew playing baseball, and the gimmick seems to be that as their bodies are discovered after many years, their ghosts vanish from the wreck. I haven't seen anything about dogtags.
